Protecting your personal data is important to us. This policy explains what data we process when you use www.eVersum.com, why we do it, on what legal basis, and which rights you have under the GDPR.

01. Who is responsible for your data

02. Data we process when you visit this website

When you open a page, your browser automatically transmits technical data that our hosting provider records in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system and the amount of data transferred. This data is required to deliver the website, to guarantee its stability and to detect and investigate attacks.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website). Retention: log data is deleted or anonymised after no more than 30 days unless it is needed longer to investigate a specific security incident.

03. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and comparable technologies. Cookies that are strictly necessary for operating the site are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and § 165(3) TKG 2021. All other cookies and embedded services (statistics, marketing/media, comfort functions) are only loaded after you have given your consent in our cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021).

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. A full list of the cookies and services used is available in our Cookie Policy.

04. Contact by e-mail, telephone and contact form

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or via our contact form, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, e-mail address, telephone number, your message) in order to answer your enquiry and to handle any follow-up questions.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Retention: until your enquiry has been dealt with; statutory retention obligations (in particular under commercial and tax law, generally 7 years) remain unaffected.

05. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your e-mail address in order to send you information about eVersum, our products and events. The dispatch is handled by Intuit Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., 2700 Coast Avenue, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), which processes the subscriber data on our behalf.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by writing to info@eVersum.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

Transfer to a third country: data may be processed in the USA on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

06. Job applications

If you send us an application, we process the data contained in it (e.g. contact details, CV, certificates) exclusively to assess your suitability for the position and to run the selection procedure.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and § 26 of the Austrian Data Protection Act in conjunction with Art. 88 GDPR. Retention: up to 7 months after the procedure has been completed, unless you have consented to a longer storage in our talent pool.

07. Services and recipients

We only pass on personal data where this is necessary, where you have consented, or where we are legally obliged to do so. Processors act on our documented instructions under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR), an adequacy decision (e.g. the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or your explicit consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR). Despite these safeguards, US authorities may in principle be able to access such data.

08. Social media profiles

We maintain profiles on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. The links on this website are plain hyperlinks; no data is transmitted to these networks until you actively click them. When you visit our profiles, the respective network processes your data as a controller in its own right under its own privacy policy.

09. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

To exercise your rights, contact info@eVersum.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Austria the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

10. Data security and obligation to provide data

This website is delivered over an encrypted TLS connection (HTTPS). We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Providing personal data is neither legally nor contractually required; however, without the data requested in a contact or newsletter form we cannot process your request.

11. Changes to this privacy policy

We review this policy regularly and adapt it when our processing activities or the legal requirements change. The version published here always applies.
